Each design begins with a painting on canvas, then, Angela chooses from favorites to hand paint on the silky pareo fabric. Every layer of color is dried in the sun, one at a time to create the vibrant watercolor effect. The century old tradition of painting on fabric is a painstakenly hands on process.

Angela was born in Italy where she acquired her passion for art and beauty. In her pursuit to see the world, while living in the Middle East, she found her soulmate and sailed to Tahiti. It was there submersed in the lush nature and intense colors of the blue lagoons that Angela began infusing the vibrant color and beauty of her Italy with Polynesia.
Angela currently spends her time between Tahiti and Hawaii, where every day she is surrounded with sounds and sights of paradise that inspire her work. She hopes you feel the beauty and majesty of these special places everytime you put on one of her pareos!
